How To Use Afterslide

Watch the video, then follow the steps below to customize your recovery.

What’s Included

  • Active Gel Pack — firmer gel for activity
  • Recovery Gel Pack — thicker gel for passive recovery
  • Spacers — 2mm, 3mm, 4mm pressure options

Step 1: Choose your gel

Active Gel: walking, errands, driving, light recovery walk.

Recovery Gel: rest and passive recovery (not designed for impact activity).

Step 2: Add a spacer (optional)

  • 2mm — light pressure
  • 3mm — medium pressure
  • 4mm — max pressure

Step 3: Insert gel + spacer

  1. Lift the Velcro cover under the midsole.
  2. Insert spacer first (optional).
  3. Insert gel pack on top.
  4. Close Velcro securely.
  5. Adjust compression with the dial.

Step 4: Hot or cold therapy

  • Both gels can be frozen or microwaved.
  • Active Gel: microwave no more than 5 seconds.
  • Warmth can last up to about 1 hour.
  • Cold therapy typically lasts about 15–30 minutes.

Step 5: Use without gel

Afterslide can be worn without gel as a slide or compression recovery shoe.
