How To Use Afterslide
Watch the video, then follow the steps below to customize your recovery.
What’s Included
- Active Gel Pack — firmer gel for activity
- Recovery Gel Pack — thicker gel for passive recovery
- Spacers — 2mm, 3mm, 4mm pressure options
Step 1: Choose your gel
Active Gel: walking, errands, driving, light recovery walk.
Recovery Gel: rest and passive recovery (not designed for impact activity).
Step 2: Add a spacer (optional)
- 2mm — light pressure
- 3mm — medium pressure
- 4mm — max pressure
Step 3: Insert gel + spacer
- Lift the Velcro cover under the midsole.
- Insert spacer first (optional).
- Insert gel pack on top.
- Close Velcro securely.
- Adjust compression with the dial.
Step 4: Hot or cold therapy
- Both gels can be frozen or microwaved.
- Active Gel: microwave no more than 5 seconds.
- Warmth can last up to about 1 hour.
- Cold therapy typically lasts about 15–30 minutes.
Step 5: Use without gel
Afterslide can be worn without gel as a slide or compression recovery shoe.
